Over the years, the Chittenango
Lions
Club has been a regular contributor to local scouting and the scouts have been
helpful to the Lions during the Club’s Annual
Christmas Tree Sale.For example, on
November 24th, 26 Boy Scouts including leaders and parents helped
the Lions unload and set up 300 trees in SticklesPark. As chairperson Lion Peter
Stevens stated at the time: “The Lions
provide Troops 11 & 33 with an annual contribution to help their troop
programs. This way the boys in turn are
also providing the Lions with some much needed
help.It is another example of the
Lions
working together with other community organizations.”
